Police say Denzel William McMurray, 23, has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the SUBWAY restaurant on WT Harris Boulevard, Sunday morning.
McMurray is charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Second Degree Kidnapping.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for an armed robbery.
On Sunday, the suspect entered the Subway on WT Harris Boulevard, brandished a firearm and demanded money from the register.
The suspect then fled the business in an unknown direction.
Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, 6’ tall, with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a striped shirt, dark colored hoodie and light pants.
