MONROE, N.C. — People buying Christmas trees can help local kids fight cancer this holiday season.
Hometown heroes has opened a Christmas tree lot with 100 percent of the proceeds going to help children with terminal illnesses.
The organization currently helps dozens of North Carolina families with living and medical expenses and they try to help every child have a normal Christmas.
