ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A man shot his neighbor in the leg during a dispute near Salisbury Saturday night.
Deputies responded to a shooting on Mount Hope Church Road around 10 p.m.
Authorities say Dusty Bryant 35, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the knee by 26-year-old Joshua Harrington.
Officials say Bryant and his wife were confronting Harrington about shining a light on their property, when the shooting occurred.
Deputies took a .380-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun from Harrington as evidence, along with one magazine and shell casings from the scene.
The shooting is still under investigation.
