Waiting Child : Isaiah
In this weekβs Waiting Child you will meet a fun-loving, active nine year old who is autistic.Β He hopes to find his forever family.
Heβs nine years old and full of energy.Β Meet Isaiah. Heβs outgoing and very affectionate. His social worker Hannah Crawford says heβs never met a stranger, βThe very first home visit I went to I heard that he loved honey buns just the 50 cent honey buns from the gas station nothing special so I took two of them to him and he immediately gave me two kisses for each honey buns.β
Isaiah is diagnosed with autism but Crawford says he is making much progress, βHe recognizes what youβre saying but he canβt necessarily communicate back conversation wise.β
Isaiah is high functioning.Β He loves to pick out his own clothes and after dinner he rinses off his dishes and puts them in the dishwasher.Β He knows his colors and enjoys following a routine.
The only thing missing in Isaiahβs life is a family to call his own. Isaiah wants a family who will love him forever.Β Consider adoption. You have the chance to change Isaiahβs life forever
If you think Isaiah would make a great fit for your family contact the North Carolina Childrenβs Home Society.
