Waiting Child : Denver

In this week’s Waiting Child we introduce you to a smart, loving kid who has a bright future ahead of him. Tonight he’s in need of a forever family who will take this journey with him.

Meet Denver. He’s 17 years old and in the eleventh grade. Denver says he loves to read and learn, “Knowledge is things that make you happy gives you energy to thrive and to build on yourself.”

He specifically likes to read up on architectural history.  Denver says he has an interest in the way buildings are designed and loves to look at them, “I’ve had this interest for 3 or 4 years now and maybe it first started when I got graph paper and started drawing just little building plans inside and started putting furniture in there and blinds that got me interested.”

With less than two years till graduation, Denver hopes to attend either NC State or UNC Charlotte.

He has a bright future ahead of him and his wish is to have a family to share it with, “I like anybody that’s close to me if you’re close to me I support you and help you in any way. “
