Southeast Charlotte Home Invasion Suspect Arrested, Additional Suspects Wanted
CHARLOTTE, NC — Police have arrested one of the men they say broke into a southeast Charlotte home Tuesday and robbed the victims inside. Tyreese Beasley, 20, is charged with Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
On Tuesday, police say three men broke into a home on Timber Commons Lane and pointed guns at the victims inside. They then tied up the victims, according to reports, and robbed them of a rifle, drugs, and other belongings before taking off.
Investigators say they were able to identify the suspects’ vehicle, which was left in a parking lot, and gathered additional evidence and surveillance that led them to Beasley.
Another suspect was also captured on camera, and CMPD is asking anyone with information on the identity or case to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police are trying to identify the other suspects involved in the case.
