CHARLOTTE, NC – Mayor Vi Lyles released her City Council committee appointments Friday, and says the positions are effective immediately and will run through December 2018.
In a release sent out this evening, officials say the mayor has worked to consolidate eight committees into six, with no reduction in city service oversight. Council committees will mirror the Council Focus Areas.
“The workload is balanced and encourages diversity of thought,” said Mayor Lyles.
The committee assignments are as follows:
