Wife Charged After Shooting At Husband During Domestic Dispute

CLEVELAND, NC — A 56-year-old Iredell County woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say she shot at her husband during a domestic dispute.

Patricia Sauve is charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent To Kill and Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling.

According to reports, deputies were called to a home on Strawberry Hill Lane around 9:30pm Sunday in reference to a domestic dispute. Officials say the husband called 911 because his wife, Mrs. Suave, started shooting at him after a heated argument.

Deputies met the husband outside the home and took him to safety, and immediately tried contacting Mrs. Suave inside. After a two hour standoff, Mrs. Suave finally surrendered to deputies and was taken into custody.

Officials say Mrs. Suave was not given bond due to the domestic violence related nature of the crimes.
