GASTONIA, N.C. — A Charlotte man has been charged in connection with a Gastonia wreck, in which one person was killed last week.
Jadiel Gonzalez, 22, has been charged with Misdemeanor Death by Motor Vehicle for his role in the accident that killed 50-year-old Eddie Shook.

The crash occurred around 7 a.m. on Friday December 15th, at the intersection of Redbud Drive and East Hudson Boulevard.
Gastonia Police say Mr. Shook was making a left turn on Redbud Drive when his Chevrolet Malibu was hit by a Ford F350 traveling south on Redbud Drive and driven by Jadiel Gonzalez.
Mr. Shook was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. A rear passenger in Mr. Shook’s vehicle was transported to CRMC and treated for minor injuries.
Jadiel Gonzalez has been charged with Misdemeanor Death by Motor Vehicle.
