Fatal Traffic Accident Shuts Down Two Lanes on I-77

CHARLOTTE, NC–A fatal car accident has shut down two lanes on I77 Friday afternoon.

NCSHP are investigating the cause of the deadly accident and have currently closed the two right lanes northbound with the left two lanes passing the scene.

I77 Mobility Partners is also on scene with their vehicles providing a safety barrier for first responders.

Expect it to be an active scene for a while and will certainly affect northbound traffic.
