GASTONIA, N.C. — Police are investigating a homicide after a body was found in a Gastonia neighborhood Friday afternoon.
At about 12:20 p.m., on Friday, December 21, Gastonia Police Officers responded to reports of a body located in the Mallard Creek neighborhood off Crowders Creek Road.
The deceased was found on Sawbill Lane by a resident of the neighborhood. Police say the road where the body was found is paved but not yet developed with houses.
