Edge On The Clock: ‘Die Hard’ Screenwriter Ends The Christmas-Movie Debate
We can finally stop debating whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie. You may have noticed the 1988 action classic on cable over the Christmas holiday weekend.
CNN’s Jake Tapper tweeted the movie’s screenwriter Steven de Souza and asked him on Saturday. De Souza replied, “Yes, because the studio rejected the Purim draft,” referring to the Jewish holiday. He added #DieHardIsAChristmasMovie.
