How would you like to spend 8 hours on a plane, only to end up exactly where you took off? Model Chrissy Teigen, her husband John Legend and more than 200 passengers essentially boarded a flight to nowhere Tuesday night.

Their flight was headed from Los Angeles to Tokyo when the pilot turned the plane around. The airline says a passenger had somehow got onto the wrong flight, but the mistake wasn’t noticed until four hours after takeoff.

Tiegen tweeted after the plane landed at the same airport: “LAX (to) LAX flight complete. Flight time, 8 hours and 20 minutes.”

The airline says its investigating.
