Below Average Temperatures Continue, Slight Chance For Snow East Of Charlotte Late Wednesday

Mostly cloudy skies are expected Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Scattered light snow or flurries are possible in our eastern counties late in the day into the evening. At this point, no significant accumulation is expected. Skies will clear late Wednesday night with lows near 20°. Mostly clear skies are expected through the remainder of the week with below average temperatures. Highs will struggle into the 30s with overnight lows in the teens. Gradually warming temperatures are expected this weekend into next week with our next chance for significant precipitation holding off until Monday.
