Boil Advisory Issued For Residents Near Granite Falls

CALDWELL COUNTY, NC — Customers near the town of Granite Falls are being asked to boil their water used for consumption due to a line break.

Officials say roughly 150 water customers living on Dudley Road at Moorelane Park Drive up to Grace Chapel Road, as well as all of Wike Road are affected by the boil advisory.

The county says those customers are supplied by the town of Granite Falls which experienced a water line break Wednesday afternoon. Any water used for consumption should be boiled, officials say, or use bottled water until testing can be done to ensure the water is clear.
