Fort Hood, T.X. — The department of defense confirms that a soldier from Fort Mill died Monday from a non-combat-related incident.
The Pentagon says 24-year-old Army specialist Javion Shavonte Sullivan died in the Anbar Province of Iraq while supporting the coalition fighting the Islamic State.
Sullivan was assigned to a unit out of Fort Hood, Texas.
