Missing Charlotte Woman Found Safe

CMPD says Wanda Brown was found this evening at the women’s shelter and is safe. She is currently being reunited with her case worker.

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD is asking for help in locating 59-year-old Wanda Brown who suffers from cognitive issues.

Officials say Brown was last seen leaving her home on Robinhood Road around 1:45pm Tuesday. Family members tell police she hasn’t returned home and they are concerned for her safety.

Brown is described as a light skinned black female, 5′ 6″, around 200lbs, recently shaved head, and last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans, black and green shoes, and possibly a bandana.
