Charlotte-Douglas Airport Open And Operational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials with Charlotte-Douglas International Airport say the airport is open and operational.

Deicing of aircraft started around 7 a.m. this morning and more than 50 airplanes have been deiced.

The airport’s snow teams were activated yesterday and all three parallel runways are open.

Individual airlines will report cancellations throughout the day and travelers are encouraged to check with their air carrier frequently for any delays or cancellations.
