Roads Were Too Icy To Drive, So Some Decided To Walk

LOWELL, NC — Roads were too icy for many to drive in Gaston County, with some residents not even being able to get out of their driveways.

Despite all the snow and ice, many still bundled up and braved the cold to get to the grocery store.

One couple told WCCB they didn’t see many other people on the road, and planned to spend the rest of the day relaxing indoors.
