CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC — A driver was killed Tuesday afternoon after running head on into a pickup truck just north of Patrick, SC.
The accident happened around 3:15pm on US-1 near Wilkins Road. Troopers say the driver of a 2005 Kia SUV crossed the center line and hit a 2007 Ford pickup driven by 35-year-old Joshua Patterson, of Sanford, head on.
The Kia’s driver died from injuries. Officials have not released the driver’s name.
