Man Wanted For Hit And Run Involving Boone Police Car

BOONE, NC — Police are searching for a man they say hit a parked Boone patrol car Tuesday afternoon and took off.

The accident happened around 5:30pm on W. King Street. Police say the man was driving a black Jeep Patriot when he hit the parked patrol car. He then pulled into a handicap space, surveyed the damage, and drove off, according to reports.
