LENOIR, NC — Deputies are looking for a 22-year-old man that went missing while walking to a friend’s home Wednesday.
Around 4pm yesterday, officials say Joseph Alexander Poovey told his grandfather that he was going to walk to a friend’s apartment roughly nine and a half miles away on Grove Avenue from his home on Clark Hill Place in Hudson.
According to the friend, Poovey never arrived and has not been heard from. Officials are saying that foul play is not suspected at this time.
Poovey is described as a white male, 5’10”, 150lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes.
