Bar Bans Customers Who Say ‘Literally’
Saying one word could get you tossed from a New York City bar.
Literally.
That’s the word.
Literally.
You can’t use it on the premises of The Continental in ‘The Big Apple’s East Village.
A musician noticed this sign in the bar’s window last week.
It reads: Sorry but if you say the word literally inside Continental you have 5 minutes to finish your drink and then you must leave.
If you actually start a sentence with ‘I literally’ you must leave immediately!!!
This is the most overused, annoying word in the English language and we will not tolerate it.
The bar then updated the sign with a new line: ‘Stop Kardashianism Now!’
The Continental’s owner now says the new rule is a joke and he doesn’t plan on really kicking out customers.
