Cold Front Bring Rain and Colder Temps.

Rain falls for most of Sunday and into early Monday morning.  However, temps stay pretty mild.  Highs warm to the upper 50s on Sunday.  We should avoid thunderstorms, but expect fairly steady showers from late tonight through early Monday morning.  Rain totals stop short of an inch.

As temps fall in the mountains Monday, snow could drop into Monday night. One to three inches is possible.  Colder air flows into the Piedmont and Foothills Tuesday causing temps to dip into the mid 40s for highs with lows in the low 20s.  We’ll get another shot at rain on Friday.

Sunday:  Rain and showers.  High 59°.

Sunday Night:  Continued showers.  Low 45°.

Monday:  Partly sunny, am showers.  High 58°.

Monday Night:  Freezing.  Low 31°.
