STATESVILLE, NC — An Iredell County man faces several felony child sex charges involving an 11-year-old child.
The victim told investigators they were abused by Daniel Jackie Greene, 35, between July and December 2017. The report was filed Sunday, January 21st.
Detectives gathered multiple statements and interviews during their investigation, which led to Greene’s arrest on Friday. Greene was initially charged with Felony Indecent Liberties with a Child, Felony First Degree Statutory Sex Offense on Minor by an Adult, Felony Statutory Rape of Child by an Adult, and Felony First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
On Monday, Greene was additionally charged with two counts of First Degree Statutory Sex Offense on a Minor by an Adult and two counts of Felony Statutory Rape of a Child by an Adult.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
