Men Dominate The 60th Annual Grammy Awards

Music fans took to Twitter to call out the lack of women giving acceptance speeches during the 60th Annual Grammy Awards Sunday night.
Now the president of The Recording Academy is under fire for his response to the #GrammysSoMale.
He said women need to ‘step up’ after men swept this year’s awards.

Only one of the nine awards presented Sunday night was won by a woman.
Alessia Cara took home a statue for Best New Artist.
The only woman nominated for Album Of The Year didn’t even perform.
Organizers reportedly asked Lorde to sing a tribute to the late Tom Petty instead of one of her own songs, so she turned them down and enjoyed the show from the audience.
