LENOIR, NC — A 23-year-old man is wanted by Caldwell County Animal Control on charges of animal cruelty.
Dieron Ruff is wanted on one misdemeanor count of Cruelty to Animals after his landlord found two dead dogs on his property at Fiesta Court on January 25th. Officials say the property’s owner, Benjamin Kirk was serving evictions on tenants, which included Ruff, when he made the discovery.
The dogs are believed to be Pitbull type dogs.
Anyone with information on Ruff’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
