Mt. AIRY, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing woman who may be suffering dementia or some other cognitive issue.
Authorities are asking for help locating Andrea Michele McMullen, 29, who was last seen in Mt. Airy and may be heading to Charlotte.

McMullen described as a black female, about five feet three inches tall and 130 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a burgundy sweatshirt and blue felt sweatpants.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Andrea McMullen is asked to call Andrew at the Surry County Sheriff’s Office at 336-734-3000.
