UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Detectives are investigating a death in the Stonebridge neighborhood in Union County.
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 11:38 a.m. Saturday morning, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 2400 block of Sierra Chase Drive, near the Stonebridge Golf Club.
Authorities located an adult male suffering from a stab wound inside the residence and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is still undetermined and the case remains under investigation. Check back for updates.
