Snow, Freezing Rain, Sleet and Rain for Super Bowl Sunday.

A Winter Weather Advisory stretches across the Piedmont from York and Mecklenburg counties to the north for Sunday morning through around noon. Expect some mountain snow possibly falling as low as Hickory.

Freezing rain and sleet drops across portions of the Foothills and Piedmont. We could see up to two tenths of an inch of ice in Charlotte. However, it changes over to all rain around 9 or 10 am, and should melt any ice that accumulates. Rain mostly ends by around 2 pm, so the Super Bowl parties should be in pretty good shape. Highs tomorrow top out in the low to mid 40s.

Sunday: AM freezing rain, rain and sleet. High 42Β°.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Low 31Β°.

Monday: Mostly sunny. High 48Β°.

Monday Night:Β  Clear skies.Β  Low 30Β°.
