Police: Suspect Arrested At Novant Health Huntersville Was Armed And Suicidal

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Police have arrested a man they say was armed in the parking lot Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center Tuesday night.

The suspect was suicidal, according to police, and was transported to the hospital for evaluation after being taken into custody. Both CMPD and Huntersville Police responded to the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. The man’s identity and possible charges have not yet been released.
