Seven People Face Multiple Drug Related Charges In Union County

MONROE, NC — Union County Deputies arrested seven suspects this week on multiple drug related charges.

Search warrants were executed on the “Farm House” in the White Store/Rock Rest Community on Old Pageland-Monroe Road earlier this week. Investigators say residents had filed numerous complaints about illegal activity at the location.

Quantities of Heroin, Methamphetamines, and Alprazolam were seized during the search, according to deputies.

The following suspects have been charged:

  • Damon Reginald Patterson, age 42 of Matthews, is charged with four counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon; two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon; two counts of Second Degree Kidnapping; Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Simple Possession of Schedule II.
  • Kimberly Devine Whitworth, age 44 of Wingate, is charged with Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Schedule II and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Shannon Ashley Moss, age 27 of Fort Mill, SC. Moss faces charges of Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Heroin; Simple Possession of
    Schedule VI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Michael Patrick Westmoreland, age 52 of Monroe, is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Jessica Ann Winfield, age 23, is charged with Failure to Appear.

Two additional drug arrests were made Tuesday when deputies stopped a vehicle in the Hembry Bridge area. Officials say more than 10 grams of cocaine, over 100 grams of marijuana, and two handguns were seized during the stop.

The following suspects were arrested and charged:

  • Joshua David Griffin, age 20 of Mint Hill, NC. Griffin faces charges of Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Marijuana; Felony Possession of Marijuana; Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Cocaine; Felony Maintaining a Vehicle; Possession of Firearm by Felon; Carrying a Concealed Weapon; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and driving related offenses.
  • Bailey Marie Todd, age 20, of Matthews, NC. Todd is charged with Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Marijuana; Felony Possession of Marijuana; Possession with Intent to Sale and Deliver Cocaine; Maintaining a Vehicle; Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
