CMPD has charged 24-year-old Antonio Grier in connection to several armed robberies throughout the area.
According to police, Grier was arrested after officers responded to a break-in at Fifth Third Bank on Reddman Road early Monday morning. Officers say Grier was located inside.
Police had responded to the same bank around 7:38am that morning when a woman called saying she was robbed at knife point in the parking lot by a suspect believed to have been Grier.
Grier is also being charged in connection to four other armed robberies dating back to January 27th:
- Circle K on W. Sugar Creek Road around 5:30am on January 27th
- Quick Trip on South Boulevard around 1:09am on February 14th
- Quick Shoppe on Eastway Drive around 1:29am on February 16th
- Plaza and Milton Food Mart on The Plaza around 1:43pm on February 18th
Currently, Grier is charged with four counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Felony Breaking and Entering, and Resisting a Public Officer.
CMPD says they’re still investigating, and additional charges may be filed.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are trying to identify the man they say robbed a south Charlotte Quick Trip early Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened around 1:09am at the store on South Boulevard near Starbrook Drive. Officials say the suspect robbed the store clerk with a knife and took off.
The suspect is described as a black male, around 6’4″, and last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black long sleeves and black pants.
