Man Charged For Stealing Tractor In Iredell County, Woman Wanted

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A man has been charged and a woman is still wanted for stealing a tractor in Iredell County.

Authorities say Thomas Jay Corbin is charged with Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle for taking a John Deere Tractor worth $14,500 from an address in the 400 block of Triplett Road in eastern Iredell County.

On Tuesday, February 13th, 2018, Corbin and another suspected identified as Keri Alise Hartwell drove the tractor from Iredell County to Rowan County where it was located on Woodleaf-Barber Road.  The suspects jumped from the tractor and fled before deputies arrived.

Corbin was arrested at a residence in the 200 block of Yadkin River Road in Salisbury by Rowan County Deputies and turned over to Iredell County detectives.

Keri Alise Hartwell is wanted for her involvement in the theft.
