MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC — Novant Health and the Mecklenburg County Health Department announced Thursday they are teaming up to host two free flu shot clinics in the coming days.
The clinics will be held in the Community Care Cruiser, a 40-foot mobile clinic, which will be located at one of the following sites. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge.
- Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center located at 10030 Gilead Road in Huntersville on Saturday, February 24th
- The cruiser will be located in the hospital parking lot
- Novant Health Matthews Medical Center located at 1500 Matthews Township Parkway in Matthews on Monday, February 26th
- The cruiser will be located under the awning outside of the emergency department
Both clinics will be held from 9am to 1pm.
No appointment is needed, and health officials encourage any resident older than six months to get vaccinated.
