Man Reportedly Kicked Out Of SC McDonald’s After Buying A Meal For A Homeless Man
A South Carolina man says he was kicked out of a McDonald’s after doing the right thing.
Yossi Gallo says he simply wanted to buy a meal for a man who is hungry and homeless, but it wasn’t long until the police showed up and asked them both to leave the restaurant.
Gallo recorded the officer telling the homeless man he could finish his meal, but he then needed to leave the restaurant and never come back.
He posted the video to Facebook on Thursday and it quickly went viral.
Myrtle Beach Police say several customers complained about the man asking for money in the parking lot.
Though, Gallo says the man didn’t approach him.
“I waved him down and said, ‘Hey, are you hungry?’ And he said, ‘Yes.’ So, I went in there with him and as soon as we went inside, the lady at the register says ‘You’re not getting food,” Gallo said.
When police arrived, Gallo pulled out his phone and started pleading with the officer.
In the video, you can hear Gallo say “He didn’t even ask me for food. I brought him from outside.”
The restaurant’s manager asked Gallo to leave because he was being “disorderly.”
