West Virginia Teachers Strike is Ongoing

WCCB — Teachers say they are not going to return to their classrooms until lawmakers approve the 5% raise they negotiated with the Governor.

The state senate passed a version of the bill that only provided a 4% raise on Saturday. However, the House voted against it.

A conference committee has been appointed to resolve the differences between the state Senate and House.
