Novant Health House Call: Kids Adjusting to Time Change

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — When we set our clocks forward this weekend, we’ll gain an hour of sunlight and lose an hour of sleep. 

While the shift is difficult for most adults, it’s even tougher on children, who need more sleep than adults and don’t tolerate sleep deprivation as well.

Dr. Erin Washburn, a pediatrician with Novant Health, stopped by to share a few things parents can do to help children adjust to time changes.
