The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Animal Care & Control Division is excited to invite the the public to the kitten nursery open house and baby shower.
Thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from the George D. Patterson Family fund, continued support from the Foundation for the Carolinas and many private donations, they are preparing to open the kitten nursery for year two.
We are kicking things off with an open house and a baby shower to help collect supplies that are needed throughout the kitten season and to recruit new volunteers and foster parents. They will share the successes from year one and reveal details about the new adoption campaign plans for 2018… “You’ve got to be KITTEN me!”
This will also be the preview for our adoption campaign for cats and kittens this year. If you can’t come to the shelter, tune in to CMPD’s Facebook LIVE video on Wednesday, March 14 at 2 PM – 3 PM!
