Hundreds Turn Out For Tonight’s Moms Demand Action Meeting On Reducing Gun Violence
CHARLOTTE, NC — Hundreds of Charlotte-area moms came out Tuesday evening to talk about common-sense solutions for reducing gun violence.
The group called “Moms Demand Action” tells WCCB it usually has about ten people show up for the meetings, but today they had hundreds. The organization had to move locations to make space for the larger crowd.
Triple C Brewing Company in South End opened its doors to the group.
The moms listened to speakers, and learned about different ways to advocate for stronger laws and policies to reduce gun violence.
Another Moms Demand Action meeting is scheduled for March 22nd in Rowan County.
