Greg Olsen Reportedly Auditioned For ‘Monday Night Football’

Panthers fans panic after learning Greg Olsen may give up his job as tight end for a job on TV. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says Olsen is committed to playing the 2018 season, but Olsen reportedly spent Friday afternoon working on his post-football future.

Several sources are reporting that Olsen paid ESPN a visit and auditioned to be an analyst on Monday Night Football. ESPN is looking for someone to replace Jon Gruden, who returned to coaching. The same reports say Olsen could be considered for an on-air job with Fox, which will begin airing games on Thursday night next season. Olsen called a game for Fox last year.
