PINEVILLE, NC — The northbound lanes of Pineville-Matthews Road at I-485 were closed for several hours Monday night due to a deadly accident.
Officials say 44-year-old David Larry Thrower Jr., of Charlotte, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened around 9:45pm on NC51 near 485.
Officials say there were two vehicles involved. No other injuries were reported.
Pineville Police are still investigating.
