Cool and new this month – a Sculpture Tour led by Todd Stewart, Program Director of Public Art for ASC since 1993. This month’s Crawl also features Uptown art galleries and museums with free admissions and free trolley rides between each exhibit and sculpture.

Join Queen City Forward, Foundation For The Carolinas, and UNC Charlotte Urban Institute for the 2018 Innovation Challenge, a deep dive into a specific problem – this one is housing. The idea is to provide access to data, knowledge and experts for innovators and entrepreneurs to design better solutions that can be market tested and implemented faster and with greater impact. Panels include the Mayor, Evergreen Team and two sets of repeated breakout session.

Charlotte Craft Beer Week 2018

Charlotte Craft Beer Week has teamed up with Charlotte Center City Partners to launch Craft Beer Week as well as NC Beer Month (April). Food truck and fun!2 8 craft breweries will be taking part, from South End, Uptown, West End and NoDa.

Citywide Easter Sunday Service at Romare Bearden Park

Eleven Charlotte churches are partnering to host a citywide Easter Sunrise Service at 7am on April 1 in Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte’s Center City. Free parking for the Sunrise Service will be available in First Presbyterian’s parking lot at the corner of Trade and Poplar streets. Romare Bearden Park is at 300 South Church Street- a two-block walk from First Presbyterian and a shuttle service will be provided for those who wish to use it.
The service time is 7-8 a.m. In the event of rain, the service will be held in Wood Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church, 200 West Trade Street, Charlotte. Seating will be provided at the park, and people are invited to bring blankets or other chairs.
