City of Hickory Reschedules Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt Due To Uncertain Weather Conditions

HICKORY, NC — The Hickory Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, March 24th has been rescheduled due to uncertain weather conditions.

City officials say the event will now take place Sunday, March 25th at Henry Fork River Regional Recreation Park at 5655 Sweet Bay Lane. The hunt for kids ages 2-6 will start at 1pm, and the night hunt for kids ages 7-12 will begin at 8:15pm.

Children will get the chance to search for over 25,000 eggs, and are encouraged to bring their own baskets and a flashlight if participating in the night hunt. The event is free to all participants.
