City To Shut Off Computers To Stop People From Working Late

Seoul, South Korea has a serious problem with city workers spending too much time in the office.
Civil servants in South Korea reportedly clock more than 2,700 hours a year.
That’s about 1,000 hours more than in other developed countries.

So the government will now force workers to go home by shutting off their computers on Friday night.
The new program starts March 30, when all government computers will promptly switch off at 8:00 pm.

To wean workers off overtime, the computers will then power down at 7:30 pm by mid-April and at 7:00 pm starting in May.
