Police Say Two Men Identified As Suspects In 2016 Murder Are Both Deceased

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have identified two suspects responsible for the 2016 murder of Adrian Potts.

Ferguson Laurent and Anthony Gill were confirmed as the suspects in Potts death and police also confirmed that Laurent and Gill are both deceased.

The CMPD says Laurent was killed in Salisbury on November 3, 2016 at the age of 22.   Anthony Gill was killed in Salisbury on July 29, 2017, at the age of 22 as well.

Authorities say Potts, who was 20 at the time of his death, was at a party in the University area on June 11th, 2016, when an altercation led to the shooting.
