ROCK HILL, SC — A 29-year-old woman from York County is charged with abusing and threatening one elderly person, while making additional threats against several others. Nicole Marie Cabrera is charged with Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult and Stalking.
According to warrants, between January 9 and March 30 of this year Cabrera destroyed prescriptions belonging to a vulnerable adult, while at the same time constantly threatening and harassing the victim.
Officials say the prescriptions were necessary to the victim’s health, and could have led to death if she would have continued.
During that same time period, officials say she also stalked and threatened several other victims. Cabrera allegedly made threats verbally in person, through electronic messaging, and even stole and destroyed their personal property.
Officials say Cabrera’s victims all experienced serious emotional distress as a result of her actions.
The case is currently being investigated by SLED. Cabrera is being held at the York County Detention Center.
