Donte DiVincenzo Deletes Twitter Account After Old Tweets Resurface

Villanova’s new basketball star learned the internet never forgets.
Donte DiVincenzo childhood tweets regrettably resurfaced on the biggest night of his life.
DiVincenzo’s Twitter account is now gone; he deleted it Tuesday morning after a number of people found old tweets using the N-word and homophobic slurs.
He scored a career-high 31 points during Villanova’s victory over Michigan Monday night and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four.

Before the night was over, someone dug up offensive tweets DiVincenzo would have written when he was just 14-years-old.
DiVincenzo says he doesn’t remember writing the tweets seven years ago and says he hasn’t been active on Twitter since 2016.
