CHARLOTTE, NC — A man has been charged with robbing a west Charlotte Metro PCS late last month.
Police say 20-year-old Rashawn Coleman entered the store on Freedom Drive around 12:50pm on March 29th, armed with a gun and demanding property. Investigators say he was on probation and wearing a monitor when the robbery occurred.
Coleman’s probation was for two other Metro PCS robberies that occurred back in January 2017. One robbery happened happened at the location on Central Avenue and the other was on The Plaza, according to officials.
Coleman was already in custody on an unrelated charge when he was identified as the suspect. He has been served an additional warrant for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
