Police Release Name Of Man Killed During Domestic Dispute In South Charlotte

The victim in this case has been identified as 59-year-old Joseph Henry Grosjean.Β  His family has been notified of his death.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —Β  Homicide detectives are conducting a death investigation after a man died following a domestic dispute in south Charlotte early Friday morning.

The CMPD says officers responded to a domestic assault call at 3:42 a.m. in the 400 block of Mountainview Drive.

Arriving officers located an unconscious adult male who was transported to Presbyterian Hospital in Matthews, before being pronounced dead by hospital staff.

Police are not searching for any additional suspects and say the death appears to be the result of an altercation between family members at the home.
